Bodyboardrack
Wooden bodyboardrack.
This bodyboardrack has a unique design for bodyboards: it is lighter, shorter and uses less wood.
I make this surfrack by hand in my garage by reusing wooden pallets.
I personally select the pallet, dismantle it and use the planks that are in the best condition. I sand them by hand one by one to make them as smooth as possible and assemble the structure to make the most of the whole pallet.
The support tubes are bought separately.
It takes me about 8 hours to dismantle the pallet, sand and assemble the rack.
Important:
- it is reused wood and although it is not the most beautiful wood, it is solid pine and of good quality.
- the pallets are assembled with nails and when they are removed they leave black holes. In some cases, the nail stays inside the plank.
- even if the planks are sanded, small splinters may remain.
- it is not a perfect rack aesthetically speaking. Remember that it is reused wood and has imperfections.
- the rack weighs about 10kg.
Extras available:
- painted in colour +10€.
- protective mat on the base +10€.
