The Avatar is based off the need of bringing the Dragon closer to the intermediate surfer. As a result , we've widen up the outline , added volume to the rail and lowered the rocker, just as much as to make the board easier to ride without sacrificing performance.

The Avatar has plenty of pick up speed from the get - go , and holds its momentum through flat sections. The wide point is sitting more forward than most shapes which helps with paddle power and wave catching. A generous outline , combined with a standard Diamond tail, keeps some width through the middle yet adding responsiveness from the back foot. This will help you throw things around, keeping it tight and spicy, without losing any paddle juice.

The Avatar is pretty speedy and pretty loose in anything knee high to overhead. A must-have in your quiver as a small to mid wave performance board.

Manufactured by the same shapers as Chilli Surfboards and Pyzel Surfboards in Portugal. They use the same materials and craftsmanship, but at a lower and more affordable price.

Production time: 3-4 weeks for PU and 4-5 weeks for EPS.
